A hidden gem

Tucked away on Alcester Road, Portway Steakhouse & Cafe has become Birmingham's worst-kept secret — people drive hours for a table. Flame-grilled steaks, slow-cooked ribs, saffron rice, dry-ice theatre and mocktails poured tall. Every cut halal, every plate built to be photographed and then destroyed.
